IMPORTANT EVENTS OF 2009-10
 
  1. In January 26th 2009 we celebrated a Republic Day with all staff and students.
  2. On March 15th  - 21st  2009 HIMS, NSS unit special camp was held in Doddakanagal, Alur taluk for week.
  3. In June 5th 2009 we celebration of world Environment day and also HIMS echo club on that day.
  4. On August 15th 2009 we celebrated the Independence day with all HIMS faculty.
  5. On August 23th  - 31st Our Aarushi Ganeshothsava in HIMS campus with full co-operation of HIMS faculty and students.
  6. On October 29th 2009 there was a Jata and Inauguration of Red Ribbon club by HIMS, NSS unit.
  7. On October 31st 2009 Freshers party was celebrated for 2009-2010th batch.
  8. On November 1st 2009 Kannada Rajyotsava in HIMS-Boys Hostel campus.
  9. On November 19th 2009 there was inauguration of Gymnasium by our Director.
  10. On March 11th 2010 we celebrated college day DHAMANI -2010 in Kalabhavana Hassan.
 

Third Annual Day
Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Hassan. DHAMANI -2010
 

The year long celebration towards commemoration of third annual day of Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Hassan. DHAMANI -2010 was conducted on 11/03/2010 in Kalabhavan, Hassan. With Full of gusto, enthusiasm, exuberance and inscrutable creativity have turned out to be un-erasable on the sands of time It can be said to be monumental in several ways because of the wide gamut of celebration incorporated there. The function was presided by Sri Naveen Raj Singh, Deputy commissioner of Hassan District. After invocation the welcome address and introductory speech was given by Dr. K S Gangadhara, Director, HIMS, Hassan.


Inauguration was done by lightening a lamp by Smt. Roopa Hassan. Writer, Hassan.

Annual college Magazine was released by Sri. K V Sharath Chandra, Superintendent of Police. Hassan.

The annual report was delivered by Mr. K N Pradeep Kumar, General Secretary, Students Association, HIMS, Hassan.

Followed by Honoring Sri. Lokesh, Our Special guest Sri Lokesh, mesmerized everyone with his memory skills, showing that visual impairment cannot hamper anyone’s determination.

The prizes for the intra college competition were given away to the respective team leaders. The university toppers were felicitated followed by honoring of all the secretaries. The D.C Naveen Raj Singh enlightened us with his speech. The vote of thanks’ was given by our Medical Superintendent Dr.Premkumar.D. This was followed by the cultural programs.
